Help HANF earn a cash boost by participating in contest
The Healthy Alaska Natives Foundation (HANF) team is always thinking of unique ways to tell people about our work and generate funds to make a positive impact on the health of the Alaska Native people around our state.
This week, HANF was positioned in the Kendall Cares contest by Kendall Auto Alaska, which will award $5,000 each to four charities around Alaska. If HANF wins one of those gifts, they will direct the funds to help Alaska Native youth participate in Camp ARCTIC, a camp where children and families facing Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis (JRA) can meet, share strategies and form friendships with other families dealing with similar arthritis diagnoses.
Winners are determined by voting, so you can play a key role in helping HANF earn this prize. HANF can earn 100 points for each person that votes for them on Kendall Alaska’s Facebook page. If you visit a Kendall dealership in Alaska, say hi to an employee and mention the contest, HANF will receive 50 points. If you test drive a car at Kendall, HANF will receive 500 points. And HANF will earn 1 point for every dollar you spend on sales and service at Kendall. That sounds like a perfect excuse to get an oil change or tune-up. The contest ends on June 22.
